       My Biased Opinion on the Kane Chronicles                                Blog Written by: Akeel Dixon I first discovered this fantastic series when I saw my brother reading these mythological/fantasy books by an author named Rick Riordan. He talked about the book series he read by him called Percy Jackson. I was interested in hearing about this series but I wasn't interested in Greek gods so I Googled fantasy Egyptian mythology books as I had read about ancient Egyptians and had a photo of the goddess Isis in my basement. So ordered the whole series and read through it in 2 months.  The book revolves around two siblings Sadie. A Review of Skyward , by Brandon Sanderson Review By Andrew Langer             I first got my hands on  Skyward  when my mom walked past a “Little Free Library." She looked through to find books for my siblings and then handed me  Skyward , I resignedly looked the book over, as usual, seeing if it was something I would bother to read. The back cover pulled me in, and I decided to give the book a chance. On the 4-hour car ride home from my grandparents I was instantly captured in Sanderson’s world of spacefaring pilots, mystery, and determination.           Skyward  tells the story of Spensa, a girl living with the remainder of the humans on a desolate planet. The people settled there are constantly under attack by an alien force known as the Krell.
